What could stop my car from starting?  I have a 94 Eagle Talon and I
replaced the ignition. It was ruined and I wired it the same way the old
one was wired and it still won't start.  What else could the problem be?

Maybe more burned up than just the ingnition switch. Perhaps a fuse was
triggered when the switch burned so check fuses. Could be a fusible
link burned up too.

I'm going to have to assume you mean you replaced the ignition switch.  If
not, you'll have to be more specific.  What have you done to check the
systems out?  Do you have spark?  Does the engine turn over?  Does all the
accessories turn on in both the RUN position and the ACCY position?  If all
the electricals are working as they are suppose to but the engine just won't
start, it could be the timing belt has slipped a tooth.  Can you get a
timing light on it?

And of course the most basic question....  Do you have gas in the car?
