If anyone knows anything about a CrimeStopper CS-2002DC Series IV
security system, I'd appreciate some input. I have an "errata"
sheet dated 05/2005, so it is of fairly recent manufacture.
I am preparing to install the aforementioned system into my 1997 Toyota
Corolla. My question is with regard to the System LED/Valet Button
"POD." The instructions state that the System LED should be
installed in a visible location on the dashboard, and the
Valet/Programming button should be installed in a hidden but accessible
location. This makes sense. Given that both the System LED and
Valet/Programming button are integrated into the same module or
"POD", how does one satisfy both requirements? I must be missing
something, and would like some input before I start the installation.
Thank you.

Let's be honest!!!
When is the last time YOU heard a car alarm going off and jumped into
action by either calling 911 or writing down physical descriptions of the
perps, license plate numbers, etc.????
Car alarms today are mere annoyances.......especially on decade-old
Toyotas.
It is laughable...........
