not very active. You might try rec.autos.tech. that group is more for
technical discussions, but many do post there for this type of information
and the group is much more active than this one. When posting to
rec.autos.tech. try to be as specific as you can Explain what you need to
know and why. There are lots of helpful and knowledgeable participants in
that forum.

I find that some forum groups that are car specific are a good idea to
try that strategy.
Product options suggestions are also useful if you can handle a brand
recommendation and perhaps a testimonial or two.
