I have a 1994 lincoln town car and the transmission wont go in reverse but it drives foward fine. changes every gear going foward. can anyone help? do i need a new transmission? I had the same thing happen to me on my old 1972 dodge dart. I had the transmission torn down since it had about 100k on it and it turned out the reverse band broke.
