Maybe when they are adding armour to these vehicles, they can also make
the occupant areas more robust to reduce deaths in these sorts of
accidents.

Does this sound familiar? If someone on the left made such a comment, the

I'm trying to discuss the actual issues. I'm not high fiving these
deaths.

He's busy trying to convince himself that all of the deaths in
Iraq have been accidents, that there are more military deaths in
peacetime than we see in Iraq, that the streets of New York are
more dangerous than Iraq, that the Abu Ghraib photos are fake,
etc, etc,.  The sad part is that he's probably succeeding.

The new armor might be making these more top heavy -- also I kinda doubt
our guys are using seat belts (and rightly so)
