Hi,

Just took my Honda Civic into a garage to get a tire patched up. The guy who
worked there took off the lugnuts from the studs holding the wheel in place.
While taking the last one off he totally stripped the stud and ruined the
lugnut. Now I'm stuck with only three out of the four studs to secure the
wheel. He acted like it was my fault for stripping the stud previously but
the reality is that he probably kinked the nut while using his hydraulic gun.
I'm wondering, do I have a case here?

IANAL, but I'd say yes. For a definitive answer, check with a real
lawyer.
