78 heater core

hello there i was wondering if anybody could help me with the removal and
intallation of a heater core in a 78 canoro lt....305 v-8 motor....i just
cant seem to find the rite bolts to take off to get the inside cover off
of the fire wall......any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated....thank you

A Chiltons auto repair book is your best friend.  Take off the
passenger side fender.  Some people cut a hole in the wheel house to
get to the bolts.  The Chiltons book is more important to the task at
hand though, and cheap enough to be worth the cost.

i have a haynes manual and on this it is not very helpfull.i guess what i
am wondering is since this car has factory air do i need to remove this
from the fire wall to get to the remaining studs they talk about? so far i
have only found one. there must be more some where.thank you for your
response i will look into getting a chiltons......thanks again

Yes, there are more studs.  That's why I said that you either have to
remove the fender or cut a largish hole in the wheel house, to get to
the offending nuts.

i have taken the tire off removed the inner fender........and still only
one stud with a nut..i have removed the blower motor..still nothing the
only thing i can see is removing the factory air......something i dont
want to do but if that is the ticket then ok.......i just dont want to
undeal thar if i dont need to......thanks again for all your help
