Hi,
I'm looking into restoring a custom camaro for super high performance. I want
to make it into an all wheel drive vehicle so it leaves the line faster than
most would expect. Anyone here done anything like that and have pointers?

Yes Buy An Eagle Talon take off the body & slap on a Camaro body. & hope all
the engine & extra bells & whistles line up.
Not highly advisable.

Good luck

Why would anyone use a Foreign piece of crap for the 4 wheel drive
platform when there are thousands of S-10 truck frames with 4wd that
could be used.

Hmmm, I don't think the S10 was an example of great design and
manufacturing.

That may be but they have everything that is needed to start an all
wheel drive conversion.  Too much work for me but someone is smart
enough to do the job, I'm sure.

Check out this all wheel drive 32 Roadster. I think you'll need to
paste the ID into the address.

Yes take an Eagle Talon. Remove the body & Slap on a Camaro Body.
& hope it all lines up with the power plant could be problems.
Not recommended but it might work.

Well, if someone could figure out a way to do all wheel drive like the
old dsm's (the old mitsubishi 3000gt4) with the same low stance, and
designed for high traction rather than off-road I don't think that would
be redneck.  Of course there are those who would call any camaro owner a
rednect anyways.

Very good Cy LOL
But your right that may work to ? It all depends on your imagination &
lining up the frame & power plant. & Of course the ever mighty $$$$
