Car runs outstanding then horrible. Also sometimes hard starting.
Replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, then checked
ignition timing. Timing good when engine runs good, advance not very
responsive when engine runs bad. Also erratic spark when running poorly.
After disconnecting the EST bypass wire to prevent advance while checking
base timing, (jumping terminals A and B advances the timing)then
reconnecting wire, shutting engine off and restarting, drivability is once
again fantastic but doesn't last. It looses power, hesitates, and
sometimes stalls. When hard starting exists excessive cranking is
necessary. Cant check fuel pressure do to damaged schrader valve.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

A long shot at best:
But the pickup coil in the distributor, or the module.
I would say the pickup. The winter before last, I replaced more in the one
winter, than I have in my whole career. They go in spurts I guess, but, I
never go a season without having to replace atleast one or two.
The windings break down and short easliy, as well as the wire joint from the
18 gage wire to the coil winding solder joind eventually fails due to road
vibrations.
I hope this helps?

When I get the kinks worked out I may put it up for bids on E-bay Motors.
Or if the price is right you may have found yourself an Iroc!
