Hi Danny,

Does your steering column have a tilt wheel?  If so you can remove the tilt
wheel spring and gain access to one of the 3 or 4 bolts that are loose.  It
looks like a star pattern (inverted torx??)  but you should be able to
tighten it with a standard 1/4 " socket or nut driver.  I used to like to
use the nut driver because of the possibility of the socket coming off the
socket extension and getting lost down in the column.  IIRC the other one or
two bolts should be accessible once you remove the turn signal switch.
There is one bolt that you can't get to unless you remove the tilt portion
of the steering column.  You need a special tool to pull out the dowel pins
on each side of the column.  These pins act as the pivot points of the tilt
wheel.  If you tighten the two or three bolts that you can get to that is
usually sufficient for at least 2 or 3 years.  What causes them to loosen is
allowing the steering column to slam up hard against it's stops when you
pull on the tilt lever.
