Don't think there is a bolt, just a 1/2 inch square hole to put your
ratchet/breaker bar in to rotate it out of the way. The C4 has been gone for
a long time so I'm going by an old memory.

Yup, Dad's got it right.  It's 1/2 inch but, on the '89, the
clearance between the crossmember and the tensioner is very
sparce.   My 1/2" breaker bar won't fit in there.  Wound up
shoving a stub of 1/2 inch bar stock into the tensioner and
tackling that with a pipe wrench.  -- One more "special tool"
(that will probably get tossed out before I have to change the
next belt or alternator.)  Cheer up Dad, it gets worse!

Hey, as the things seem to be happening of late I found my belt replacing
tool. It's 1 inch of 1/2 inch square stock welded at about 60 degrees on a
piece of 1/4 X 1/2 X 20 inches long bar stock with a thin wall rubber hose
shoved on it.

Done it,,,,,had to use my right hand/arm as the tool. Wasn't easy but
succeeded, especially that the new belt is not stretched yet. I have
questions about idle. Last night I used my car. When it was cold it was
idling pretty high like about 1200 in Park. It took about a half hour to
drop to 700 in Park. Is there some sort of adjustment?

Question 2- As soon as I started the car (cold) I turned the a/c on, but I
noticed that the cooling fan did not go on. Is that normal or should the
cooling fan go on everytime I turn on the A/C?

Thanks for all you help....
