Oil temp readings, 1993

The analog oil temp gauge on my '93 reads lower than the digital readout
when I step through the various functions by pressing the gauges button on
the dash.  The difference is 50 degrees or more.  The digital readout says
the oil temp in a little over 200 after running awhile, but the analog says
maybe 150.  Also, after starting it takes the analog gauge quite awhile to
move off 100, the lowest setting.

Is this fixable?  Which one is correct?  If it's a bad sensor, why are the
readings different?

Same problem with my '93.  Is it sensor location?

I'd be more inclined to "believe" the digital readout. Oil temp is usually
just higher than coolant temp

That would be consistent with the digital readings, which show oil temp
about 10 degrees higher than the coolant temp.  I guess the question now is,
are there two different sensors for the two readouts.  I can hardly imagine
that.  I suppose the oil temp analog gauge is just sticky or something.  I
wonder if that can be fixed at all economically, or if I should just live
with it.  Most everything else works fine on this car, so I'd like to fix it
if it's practical.
