I didn't,, my mechanic did after finally getting an appointment.

So much for doing your own diagnostic. How much did you get smoked by
the mechanic ?
By the way, here's an old post (couple of years ago) from this news
group about injectors (no opinion express or implied by me):
=============================================
Replacing injectors on an '85 (possibly other years) I know you're not
gonna like this, but you can replace your whole set of eight injectors
(24lb/hr injs. on an 85) for the price of one from GM. FORD motorsport
24# injectors for $169 a set! Pick up a copy, better yet, write down
the phone number out of a page of a mustang magazine at your local
store. ( You don't actually want to *BUY* a mustang mag... ;-) Look
for 24# Ford MotorSport injectors. Price will range from $169 ~ $209
for a set!
I have an '85 and replaced mine after 35,000 miles and *wow* what a
difference. The car had a much smoother idle! Turned my "lumpy" cam
into a tame one.

As for the car, it runs nice now. It still has the natural roughness, but my
body doesn't shake from side to side anymore. I got clipped about 200 for
the whole job, but would a Ford injector actually work in a Corvette? Sounds
pretty interesting....If thats the case, I'll pick up a whole set and just
have them all replaced next time I run into the same problem.
Thanks
