1. Why does the security lite flash intermittently while I am driving? all
doors are closed.
2.My car has a hard time starting when engine is hot. Some times I have to sit
for 10 minutes before it fires up and catches on. On cold mornings, cool
weather, it starts up right away. Have no problems driving  once I get going.

ME: You have Starter 'Heat Soak' .  Try getting a shield for the
starter, available thru Mid America and other vette parts suppliers.

Will it not crank over? Or does it crank and crank without firing up?

It will Crank  and crank and not fire up. Have to wait a few minutes before it
catches on.

Well gee we have to give dave some credit he got the " doesnt start "
part right.

For a guy that spends his life fixing Hvac equipment  he shows he`s a
1st class Bozo.

I bet he has soaked alot of innocent good folk.

I think it could be vapor lock but, haven't heard of a fuel injected
vehicle doing that. I suppose it could possibly happen if the fuel pump
was on it's way out or needing a new fuel filter.

I would start by running some fuel dryer through it. Then fill it with
the highest octane gas you can find from a gas station with the newest
underground tanks. You could also put some heat shielding on the fuel
line where it is in the engine compartment near any heat sources.

Good luck,

hmmmm This may be coincidence but this tank has Shell's new V power gas and
that is when I started having problems. I normally use Chevron

Thank You very much  for the suggestions.

Security lite could be a loose wire but not sure
Starting problem sounds like your timing is off.
