I want to replace my wheels with a set of classic Cragar SS 15x8 off a ?72 Camaro. Will they fit OK? Unsure of offsets but lug pitch/dia. look OK. I might be wrong but, I seem to remember that Crager offered a special offset deep dish wheel for the Corvette back then. I have a set of Cregar Star Wire "Corvette Special" Wheels on my 79... that STILL require spacers ...a royal pain in the a.s honestly ... Never did understand why Creger would name them Corvette Special and still require the use of a spacer to clear the brake caliber... BTW.... they look great BUT why I ever was nuts enough to buy wire wheels I do not know.... cleaning them is an all day job even if done half assed...(something I am not know for)... Bob Griffiths |
