Is there a positive traction switch on my 84' Corvette?
I was told I may have one, but do not see one.....

Thanks,

On a 1984?  I don't think they even had a computer in those days.

Actually they did have a computer but not a "positive traction" button and
they still don't. There is a traction control/active handling button that
you can turn on or off on the later C4s, C5 and C6. The computer was first
used in 1980 for Kalifornicate Corvettes, then on all Corvettes in 1981 and
up to the present.

The '93 has a button that disables the  ASR (Automatic Slip Reduction),
which I generally press as soon as I start the engine.  Would that I could
default it to off.

I know the 4th gen Camaros have a mod to set it to start in the 'off'
mode.  It involves slipping some type of module between two
connectors.

The less you care, the more it doesn't matter.

actually Dad said " later C4s".
my 84 has two separate computers.
however,
I understand  they do NOT control breaks or traction.
I could have been mis-informed.
