I am still in the habit of saying "I am taking the Vette" as I don't have
the confusion of multiple Vettes. I am going to have to practice saying "I
am taking Sampson to the store" or "Sampson and I are running to the store."
I like that better...

it's a girl thing. my wife named hers 'the bee' with a plate of 'bzzzzzz'
since it's a 96 yellow convertible with a black top, and my car is 'penny'
since it's a copper 94. i still call it 'my car', much to her chagrin.

Daughter named mine "Sampson" because it sounds so powerful. She is only 12,
so I could not tell her my suggestion.
My Vette is so loud I would have to just call her "Bitch!"
But I see somebody else already mentioned that.

And here I thought that everybody wanted to get it on with Mary Anne.

Did the Skipper & Giligan have some type of weird bear, twink
relationship going on or what?  Put's a whole new twist on that

You called my bluff..... :^(
Mine is just too much of a project at this point. I just got her out of
I.C.U. 84' Vette, got her running pretty good (Took a lot), had instrument
cluster rebuilt by Delco, Getting a new wind-shield today, Flow Master
exhaust mid week, trans overhaul next week, then the big job..... Taking all
the paint off, then paint it (two tone charcoal metallic with charcoal
silver flames), then new tires, then replace the interior (If I get that
totaled Vette with the front crunched for $400, keeping my fingers crossed).
When she looks good, then I will consider having the engine rebuilt and
hopped up, but at $2,000 it won't be this year.

Bitch seems to be a common name :)  Sometimes cars are like women.  No
matter how cold it is outside or how badly you need them, sometimes ya
just can't to get em to turnover.

My Bikes vanity tags are Da Wife II.

INstead of complaining, why not follow the thread. Read the post right
above and figure it out. You DO know about posting threads and trees
right? Better this than wading through lines and lines of previous posts
to see a one sentence answer. All programs should cut out the crap that
was already posted and cut down on the noise, which you have helped
create more of.
Dad - 15 Oct 2006 20:03 GMT
You make an assumption that all news readers are the same, not so.
truebluebowtie - 15 Oct 2006 21:54 GMT
Agreed, they are not. However, the one he's using can be seen by looking
at his posting info which tells me he's using is MS Outlook Express
through Road Runner in Houston. Options include a Read tab which can be
set to Expand all group messages so you can see what was said and then
replied. In MS bulletins, they suggest you set this tic on the box and in
upcoming new versions of MS browsers and ng readers, it will be a default
so anyone can see threads as they are meant to be seen by default.
Scubabix - 16 Oct 2006 00:31 GMT
Yeah, she does, thank goodness
