Couple things: First off, the car is fiberglass, so the shape of the
body is probably going to be better. 2nd, people don't generally drive
them as much or in harsh conditions.

You can also add....especially in my own case..
They (any of my Corvettes) just AIN'T leaving the garage unless
it is CLEAN.....
I would be embarrassed if anyone saw me driving a Dirty Corvette
That said...The Paint on new Corvettes is in my opinion pretty
bad......or maybe I should say the clear coat seems to scratch
darn easily...
