Can anyone tell me why the "auto" setting on the radio only gives me 2
selections...."on and "off" when the owner's manual indicates each push of
the button would give you "min", "med" and "max".

Is there an upgrade or is this not the auto pilot version.

Car has CD player and Bose spkr. system.

Thanks

I'll check, I've only had it a year and haven't turned the radio on yet.

Howie,
On page 3-76 the manual explains that if you have the Bose system it has
something called AutoPilot that continuosly adjusts the volume according to
the back ground noise. It is either 'on' or 'off'. The instruction for min,
med, and max must be for the standard radio, not the Bose. The manual is not
really clear about this. I hope I have explained this correctly.
Happy listening and cruising!

Howie,
I should have said AudioPilot not AutoPilot.
