Car Forum / Chevrolet / Chevrolet Corvette / September 200578 Auto with 3.08 rear end?
Most 78 vette's have a 3.08 rear end? I was wanting a little more umph and thought changing out to a 3.55 would be a nice addition. Ideas? Experiences? 3.55 enough? Car has a 383 cu in w/ 700r4 4 speed automatic. Thanks. At $3 a gallon? I'd like to have a 2.73 rear about now. > Most 78 vette's have a 3.08 rear end?
