Does anybody know where the best source of private party Corvette want ads
is?

Hemmings used to have a lot but these days its all dealers, mostly Proteam.
Proteam is great for those of you who don't want to get a good deal on a
car.

Well, you could join NCRS, they have a newsletter every 3 months with
Corvette parts & cars for sale.

Virgil, it's unclear from your query whether you mean sources on the Web OR
from any media source. If the latter, drop into any magazine shop and pick
up a copy of "Corvette & Chevy Trader". Alternatively, you may wish to check
out their parent website at: http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/

The website has a search engine for both vehicles and parts.
