The guys at HR just got a crate LS7 and with just a cam & headers got an easy 600 hp...... A vat of liquid "plastic" and a CNC laser thingy (that's a technical term :-) goes down into it and where it hits the "plastic" goes hard and a complex part emerges. Gotta get me one of them too!
