Anybody know where I can find pictures on how the ignition shielding on a 69
goes together?

The 1969 Assembly Instruction Manual (available from most big supply houses)
should have illustrations in the section for the radio option...

Yep I agree..
The assembly manual is a MUST HAVE ITEM for any Corvette...
owner....   Not expensive at all, shows how everything is put
together, ( how to take it apart ) ...
