Is your bra black? It could be adding to the heat that is trapped on the paints
surface. Myself I thing the only time it should be on is when you're moving,
then it's questionable at best. My '05 will turn 20,000 this next week and I can
see only one slight mark and that would have been outside the questionable
protection area of the Bra. Now my windshield is another story with dozens of
stone pocks.

Right now I don't know the answer to his problem. He did state in a later post
that the paint under the Bra had changed color, not much but enough to see it.
Strictly a guess at this point that maybe the color somehow tainted the clear
coat from heat build up under the mask and hot sun. I still see the Bra as used
when on a long sustained drive and remove it when it's over. It's there to
protect your finish when you're moving not when it's sitting still, although it
could still be a problem driving in heat and sunlight.

Personally I've never used one, always thought they looked out of place. I have
used clear package wrap that just clings to the surface, the thick kind from the
shipping department, not Saran wrap. If it rains you have to take that off to
keep any grit that gets under it from scratching the finish, but then I never
put anything on in the hot sun. Learned that the hard way, covered a new black
paint job on a '69 Camaro with visqueen that got caught outside in a quick
shower then hot sun while I wasn't there. Did manage to buff it out but what a
job.
