after new set of tires on the 94 , its appears that my loss of airpressue is
due  to slow leak in wheels. Im exploring my options. One being new rims
(aftermarket) Since these rims will not have the tire pressure units. what
is the work around?

The pressure transmitters are held onto the rim with what looks like a
big SS hose clamp.

Unless you buy some goofy rims and the band is too short and there isn't
enough room for the sensors between the rim and the rubber. They are
quite large units. But close to same size rim should be fine.

Just take them off the old wheels and put them on the new ones.
