this baby runs excellent.  one of the best handling corvettes of all
time.  top comes off this time of year for some stylish driving fun.

no major problems, runs like a beast.  good tires, new radiator, new
rack n pinion, new steering pump.  post pics soon or email request
them.  hate to get rid of it but my new house has a narrow driveway
and can't park it there.

Pretty lame excuse from a used car dealer

May of Us like a very stiff suspension in our weekend pedal to the
metal cars. that come out to play on the back roads and twisties ..
feeling the road with our a.ses is exactly what we like...

Now for 300 mile rides down the interstate a 84 would NOT be my
choice.... Heck I doubt if I could even get out of the Car at the rest
stops.. so yes it would be an accident (wet pants) waiting to
happen...

Worse than a 1960s Morgan? They rode like coal carts. Handled great though.

Had a 1984 Z-51 Vette ..among the worst cars ever produced in the
world..nothing was any good..real piece of crap..rode like a freakin
truck....and the windows.crossfire,digital dash,clear coat,workmanship were
a complete disaster..1984 vettes should have gotten the worst ever built
award..but then it would have been later given to GM for the rest of the
Vettes.

My 1993 LT1 shakes so badly with the top removed it is almost impossible to
control..WHAT KIND OF ENGINEERING IS THAT...???? Who in blazes designs a car
with a removable top and then does not design the frame to be sturdy enough
to prevent steering shake..is this American engineering at its best..?? No
wonder Toyota just took over as the best selling car in America.!!!!!!

To bad you're an even worse example of wasted effort, considering the
automotive press heaped praise on that car! You're just a prime example
of dufus taken to an extreme.

I happen to own an 84, sure it rides rough, I guess you could even say like
a sports car, why would anyone want a soft riding sports car?  The crossfire
is easy to beef up to 295 HP with just a few changes to the cam, lifters and
pistons.  My '84 'rides on a rail', I drive the Dragon's Tail at least 4
times a year on my way to the casino and this car is one great ride.  Now if
you have ever owned an MG that's a car that you might describe with the
adjectives you used.  I have no idea where you live, Redbull, but driving a
sports car is an owner option, If you want plush then buy a 2007, if you
want true feeling and enjoyment buy a C4.

I sure wish I had the oppertunity to run the Dragons Tail 3-4 times a
year....Only did it once and  on a day that every Motorcycle in the
world was out there... LOL...still 11+ miles of pure driving
pleasure...!

Looks like I might miss it, 14 hour drive and everyone is tied up in
school functions that weekend. I've done it before but would rather be
a little more into spring greenery than this time of the year.

When are the bikes not there? ;-) Great people with a great place to
ride.

Add the 'vert crossbracing to the frame.  It was a bolt-on for the '89
and is probably likewise for the '93.  About 500 bucks should eliminate
this anger and eliminate the whining noise.  ...less than you'd spend
with a shrink to do the same.  Order it through any dealer .  Mid
America had a sale on an aftermarket version sometime back--might still
be available.  Make your life easy by changing the fuel filter before
you add the crossbrace.
