Anyone got any idea why the fan switch on an 86 vert would stop
working on low and medium?  High works fine, but the other 2 are DOA.

Ot's not the switch, it's a bad resistor in the fan circuit.

Thanks Al,  Any idea where this resistor is located or can be found?

Not on an 86 but it's always in the duct downstream of the blower or in the
blower housing. I think they have four wires going to them. Should be easy
to find.

One more thing, sometimes a bad blower motor will take out the resistor.
