The C4 fuel injection had many changes, some major, during it's life
span, you might want to get more specific about the year. Most will
require a chip change or reprogram to tweak it's performance.

Hunt for an older/used laptop computer that will run W98
as well as Win-XP and can accommodate a floppy drive. If
it has both a 'serial/232 port' and USB that's golden.
Preferably one that works from a 12-volt cigar lighter
without an extra power inverter to clutter up the cockpit.
(IBM-TP is a good bet.) -- this burns chips and lets
you do some comparative 1/8 and 1/4 mile runs.

Best bet... like the previous poster said "HELM Inc." They publish all of
the GM manuals.
