One of my kids downloaded a malicious adware thing called Zeno search.
I'm sure I'll get rid of it, I always do, but it is frustrating. I need
another computer side by side, that is NOT infected. This cocksucker is
blocking access to my registry cleaner and is blocking installation of
two separate programs that I know will remove it and when I search
Google or something else, it directs my searches to it's own anti-virus
program. Yeah cocksucker, I'm really going to buy your product after you
infected my computer and annoy the sh.t out of me.

It is off topic, but here, I got this from the web. Gotta help a fellow
Corvette owner.
1. Reboot your computer to Safe mode ( press F8 when Windows start ).
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the
Registry editor.
3. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
In the right pane find and delete the entry 'SysStart'. Record
the path and filename that 'SysStart' points to.
In the right pane find and delete the following entries (or any
values ended with random string such as "FI002" , "DO0605"):
"{1C-CC-C5-54-ZN} " = "c:\windows\system32\dwdsregt.exe FI002"
" {00-07-71-1C-ZN} " = "c:\windows\system32\rodsregm.exe DO0605"
"BrowserUpdateSched" = "C:\WINDOWS\system32\mwinpsaw.exe DRCA02"
4. Navigate to and delete the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Zeno
5. Delete all the files mentioned in step 3.
6. Delete he following file(s):
%WinDir%\System32\swintrag.exe
7. Reboot the computer.

I saved that for future reference. Nothing like a de-hack that works.
About a year ago, I ended up re-initializing a machine that had that SOB on
it.

I had to look that one up.
