Very, very, very, very, very, very common problem. Do a search on
yahoo for a/c light flickers and you should get results. It involves
taking the whole heater-a/c control module apart, cleaning and
lubricating it.

Thanks guys, I will try to make repairs tomorrow.
As per John, I made a complete and successful repair on my 2000 Malibu air
condition controls.It took me less than one hour and the system is working
perfect.Previously, I had priced the controls at a local dealership for
$190.00 + labor.
