1999 3.1 Malibu performance "chip"

Hello...
I am trying to find a real performance booster. I know this is a v-6, but
feel this can do better. I am not looking to change out cams, efi systems,
etc...but I wonder if something as simple as real dual exhaust, a
performance computer chip (if available) is possible. Please let me know
your thoughts and any proven upgrades you may have done..

a chip will not work, for a real upgrade, contact mark at mpracing, via
www.unitedmalibus.com and he tunes the pcms for our cars and it helps
out immensely. one person got 39 mpg on the way home on the highway
back from chicago to decatur, il.
