CAR CAME INTO MY SHOP FOR NO START PROBLEM , CHECKED FOR FUEL PRESSURE AND NONE WAS FOUND CHECK TO SEE IF GET SIGNAL BACK TO THE FUEL PUMP WAS, KEY ON FOR THREE SECONDS AND THEN TEST LIGHT OUT , LIGHT BACK ON WHEN CRANKING BUT STILL NO PRESSURE WHICH IN TURN TOLD ME FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS WORKING AND COMPUTER IS GROUNDING THE CIRCUIT.PUT IN NEW FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY BUT STILL DOING THE SAME THING POWER BACK TO THE PUMP BUT PUMP IS NOT RUNNING.DID VOLTAGE DROP AND FOUND NOTHING TESTED FOR GOOD GROUND AND EVEN RAN NEW GROUND STILL NO DIFFERENCE.ANY SUGGESTIONS? Make sure you have 12V right AT the fuel pumps leads! New ignition key? Does this car have a fuel pump inertia shutoff switch? I'm not sure where in the circuit the inertia switch is located, before or after the relay, but if it has been tripped, the fuel pump may not be getting any power to it.
