ok i never had a chance to fix the fuel filter yet and my car is still
running the same way. It works fine when you drive normal and give it just a
little gas(about half way to the floor), but starts to hesitate when you put
the pettle to the floor.

i didnt have the money to buy a fuel filter and have it put on so i put in
some octane cleaner by stp and about 15 mins after the engine light came on.
so i have the money now and tomorrow off so im going to bring it in and see
whats wrong, hopefully i wont get ripped off since im not very good with
cars.

does this sound like a coil pack going ? if it was would it hesitate all the
time.
does it sound like the catalatic converter? i drive on a lot of hills and it
doesnt hesitate.  unless i floor it.
could it be spark plugs or wires? i tried to check them but cant figure out
how to get at them.

does any body know a site where i could get info(step by step) on fixing or
replacing parts.

sorry about all the questions but i would like a few more opinions before i
bring it in. like i said i dont want to get riped off.

thanks
