impala question

sorry if off topic. need the location of the resistor for the blower motor
on a 2001 impala. only works on high right now. would it be on firewall?

Its under the dash under the glovebox next to the fan you will notice
that the wire to the resistor goes to the fan so you cant miss it....If
you have problems getting it out let me know

i went out about an hour ago and took off the fan cover. finally warm enough
to do something outside. saw where i think it is. has 2 wires going to it.
felt it click when i turned on the fan. i think i have to unscrew 1 little
screw and it should be uncovered. my back can take about 15 minutes at a
time laying in that position. thanks for the help. wife had to take the car
so i will try again sunday. well if i have time...... gun show might get in
the way.
