Call your chevy dealer's service dept and give them the VIN. They'll tell
you if it's included in the recall.

The warrenty for the recall pays 2.5 hours to do the job...But the job
really only take a maximum of 1.5 hours to do the job.....
But most of the guys take for ever so be expecting to be there a
while....

I had my 97 done a few weeks back and it took about that long, give or
take. I was out to lunch with the GM of the stealership

What was the recall for, and what models does it apply to?

We got a letter from GM about my husband's 97 Malibu. Had it fixed at the
local Chevy Dealership. It took a couple of hours.
