Today when doing oil change I noticed greenish fluid sweating from around
the transmission pan gasket area right in front of oil drain nut, I compared
viscosity and smell of the stuff leaking with what I have in the coolant
reservoir and it is coolant what it is leaking, Is this possible?  Coolant
reservoir was very low, BTW.

Is it your transmission gasket or is it the rear of yoou intake leaking
cooland down onto the transmission? By the way what size engine do
have? Also was there any coolant in you oil?
sometimes when a intake gasket is leaking it will leak into your oil as
well ...Ned to know what engine it is and how many miles are on it ..
Then i can help you better

Steve,

The motor is 3.1 V6.  If coolant and oil are like water and oil that do not
mix, then there was no coolant in the oil I drained from the engine.  The
coolant seems to be lealking right from the transmission gasket, which if I
am not mistaken it'd be impossible, am I right?  The car is a 98 and has
been driven quite a few miles, just about 135K miles.  BTW, the intake
gasket was already replaced at about 85K miles.

Many thanks,

Guillermo

Your eight it is impossible for coolant to leak out of the tranny
gasket..unless your radiator is bad and its leaking into the side where
the tranny lines are .nternally ..Id try looking higher take off your
breather snorkle you will get a good look at the tranny from there pull
the air filter and housing...there are about 4 or 5 different places
coolant can come out on the drivers side above the tranny alone.....The
tranny wraps around the rear of the engine from the left which is the
drivers side...Is your transmission fluid at level? On these you got to
get under it and there is a plug like what is on the differentials and
it should seep out after you loosen it if not your low...If you see not
leaks I would have you system pressure tested does it build pressure let
it get to operating temp then see if the top hose gets hard if not you
really need to get a pressure test...check your tranny fluis first if it
has alot of coolant your radiatore is bad
