Are these GM products any good?  I have car credit on my GM but don't want a
pig.
Best,

'Any good?' is really a pretty subjective question..

Given it's a 'new' architecture (Epsilon platform, shared with the
SAAB) there isn't any significant service/repair history on it yet, so
we can't say if it's 'good' or not from that perspective yet..

Nothing in your question that indicates what you are looking for, or
need/want as far as features/functions etc, so it's impossible for
anyone to say whether this car, or any other for that matter, would be
'good' at meeting your requirements or not....  Regardless I'm sure
you will get lots of advice, both pro and con. When you do, just take
the time to consider what that 'advice' is based on when you are
weighing it's value in your decision making process....

For what it's worth (see immediately preceeding comment) I have had
the 04 Malibu LS since mid November.. Has been great for me and meets
the needs I had for a car... very happy with my decision to purchase
it over the others I was considering.. Altima, Mazda 6,  Camry,
Jetta.. etc....
All auto manufacturers have their problems.. GM is no different, so
your mileage may/will vary..

Do your own detailed research of course, including but hopefully not
just limited to any comments you may get here, including mine....
Determine what you are looking for in a car.. needs vs wants..
compare the features/prices/insurance costs etc of the different
makes/models that meet the majority of those needs/wants... Test drive
a lot of different cars, in as many different driving scenarios as you
can. (ie: highway, city, good weather, bad weather..) ..

..and have fun
