Try looking under the spare tire cover...it may be listed there as well.
| I see that i need to be clearer, owners manual does not state the tire pressure and i dont have the
| door sticker...thats why i asked if anyone here had a 99 that would be willing to look at their door
| sticker as there was no way i would put 44lbs or max pressure in any tire. looks like i will just
| drop by a dealer and crack a door to find this out...
I have a 1999, I just checked (sticker is on driver's side REAR door):
29psi front, 26psi rear (cold). Add 4psi to both if hot.
This is for the original tires (Firestone Affinity in my case).
Nothing wrong with 44psi if the tire says it can take it (and the tire is
rated to fit your vehicle).

Quite often the tire lists the max pressure - if you inflate it to this
pressure, the tire will wear down the center of the thred.

AND your wet traction will be greatly reduced. Always inflate to the vehicle
specs. 44PSI when the vehicle calls for 26-29 is asking for trouble.
