This is driving me crazy. I redid the brakes on my 2000 Malibu LS using
all Bendix brakes components (new rotors, pads, drums, and shoes). About
2 days after this I started to get a clicking noise from the passenger
rear drum when I apply the brakes anything more then gently. I pulled the
drum and everything is in textbook picture order. no signs of damage,
shoes wearing unevenly, nothing. Anyone have any suggestions.

There was a time when new rotors and drums could be put on without
machining first. Now, with some of the offshore discount parts that is
not so. You could have a drum that is not concentric.
