Hi,

I was pulling away from a traffic light recently when the tension on the gas
pedal of my 98 Malibu snapped.  The pedal went to the ground and there was
just enough momentum for me to pull into the parking lot of a home
improvement center.

Anyway... long story short the throttle cable had snapped.... thanks to my
brother in law and one of our local salvage yards I was able to fix it 4
hours later.

The guy at the salvage yard was very surprised a throttle cable would give
out this soon.  Has anyone else experienced this?
