I have a 97 Chevy Malibu that Theft System light comes on and then needs to sit 15-20 mins and then starts. Is there a way to deactivate this? If the car then got stolen I would be thankful! Thanks, Tom Henricksen I have a 97 malibu also and I had to replace my ignition lock cylinder. Unfortunately, now, by removing the ignition module my computer now thinks the car has been stolen. If you do find out how to deactivate this theftlock, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Mitch |
