None. You'd need forced induction to see any sort of benefits. I'd put the
paper filter back on... wiht a K&N when you "recharge" it, some of the oil
may find its way into your air intake & fudge things up. Not worth it, IMO.
I've got a 4.6L V8 & notice no difference. Now on a forced induction car
(supercharged/turbocharged).. you may get a few HP. All of the "hp increase"
and "fuel mileage increase" is just marketing hype.

Yeah your right....you'll never notice 1-8 horsepower increase during
normal driving. Put it on a dyno or on the quarter mile like you said in
your other response and you may see a 100th of a second decrease in time.
Old school thinking is sometimes best.
