Ok here is the scoop, I locked my factory deck by unplugging not realizing
that it would lock it out, so i go into the dealer and they tell me that
the new deck has to be installed first and then they can unlock it, but
then i won't know if the new deck is working until i get back to my home
where i can get them to unlock it, i am just curious to verify that the
2002 malibus have to have the factory deck hooked up with the new one
using the special harness? another question is how hard are the speakers
to replace, i mean the covers in the back for the rear ones are a b!tch to
get off, and the door panels i have no clue how they come off. If anyone
has a 2002 chev malibu LS and has replaced the factory deck and speakers
could u please help me out and explain what you had to do, also

My driver side door was caught by the wind on sunday, it was opened pretty
hard, and now it won't open or close anymore, well it will but it bends the
door metal even more, it looks like its been pushed forward, how do i move
it back? its rather annoying having to get into the passenger side door
all the time.

Thanks

I just did my rears, used a flat head screw driver to pop the covers off,
havn't done the doors or deck yet.

I think you will have to go to a body shop for that.

Another question, does anyone know the correct size speakers for the front
door ones, i know the backs are 6x9, but not sure for the fronts.
