Yes , I have it. I'm amazed at how accurate it is.I've checked the
thermometer against others. Also, the fuel economy seems accurate. It
calculates a cumulative average since you last reset it. So, if you reset it
when you fill the tank you can monitor you cumulative economy on that tank.
The average speed appears to be low, but I've come to the conclusion that it
counts idle time. I noticed that since winter came and I warm the car up in
the morning the average speed seems low. But if I reset it before my commute
home, the speed seems about right. It is amazing how a little bit of stop
and go driving will pull down your average speed and fuel economy--but that
really doesn't surprise me as I used to be a rallyist in my past days.
The oil life system (OLS) is really a neat piece of work. Rely on it; GM
does for your warranty. They no longer recommend an oil change interval if
your car has the OLS. I'm in the lubricants business and I've had the OLS
explained to me. It is a lot more involved than I first thought. It counts
cold starts, engine temperature, miles run, engine load and other things
through sensors and the on board computer and from it all calculates your
remaining oil life. Through this winter my interval looks like its going to
be about 6000 miles.
