1997 MALIBU (ABS)lights

HELP!!! I have a 1997 malibu with the ( ABS ) comming on every so often.But
the brakes work very well! I even slam tha brakes on and the (ABS) kicks in
what do I do about this lite. It worrie's me when my wife grives.
Thank's hope for help.

This is a well known problem with the ABS sensor, not the ABS
functionality itself. Most people just live with it, but if it'll keep
the peace, plunk down the couple of hundred bucks to replace it at the
dealership.

I have a 2000 Malibu and it was doing the samething in turn out to be the
front weel hub needed to be change

same as for my 02 front wheel bearing was the problem
