I recently purchased new lowbeam headlights ,and was wondering if each time
you remove the headlight assembly casing if re aiming is nessasary and what
tool is needed ?..
to me looks like its not ,but since i changed them one seems to beam higher
than the other ..thanks

your '98 should be the same as my '00 - and you're correct, it should
not require re-aiming.  You should, however, check to make sure that
both clips are seated completely, and that all of the rubber gasket
that surrounds the headlights is properly in place.

a simple test to see if they need alignment is to park your car near a
wall/garage door and check to see the cut-off the light emits. I think
you’ll be fine though  :)
