im working on this car, my uncle had changed this coil and it still doesnt
work. I need to know what wire is doing what to the coil so i can chase
the problem. Also I do have a meter I can test the coil he replaced to see
if its bad but not shure which numbers to look for? Any thing would help

Test the primary and secondary resistance of the known good coils
than test the suspect one.  One ohmmeter probe to spark plug terminal,
other probe to coil ground = Secondary resistance = approx 2K ohms
Ohmmeter to 2 input leads = Primary resistance = 10 ohms

These figures are guesses, I don't have a coil pack coil to test,
what matters is the values of the known good, verses the suspect one.
If all three coils show same resistance [ also check discarded coil ]
than you have a problem with the wiring / or control box.

Before doing any fancy probing, disconnect coil from circuit to
prevent VOM from reading control box, and to prevent any voltage
present from frying VOM set to Ohms scale
