Most people think the new Colorado trucks are ugly. Even the dealer
apologized when I looked at one last week and then he said but they're built
tough and that's what's important for a truck.

Older Chevy trucks are ugly too, especially back in the early 1960's. My
God, these old ones especially want to make you puke.  Why can't they hire
people to make trucks that look nicer?  Don't they ever get any feedback
from people somehow?

Dodge trucks are the best looking in my opinion.

Such a weak troll.  Come back when you've become a 4th degree troll and
we'll play with you.  I can't believe you don't have a WebTV address....

I think they have the fords and Dodges trying to look like Freightliners
with those obnoxious front ends on em.. there huge. they are heavy duty
but not that heavy duty. and for compaison or the 3 manufacturers there
really is no difference in the performance of these trucks. I know
because I work with guys who truly use em as trucks.. We average 20,000
miles every 3 months hauling new travel trailers... I do know the Fords
seem to have more turbo and injector problems than the Chevy's and
Dodges..

what is this suppose to mean?

I can't believe you don't have a WebTV address.

Bob,
Seeing as how you appear to be one of only two literate WebTV users I have
encountered (and I've seen a LOT of other WebTV users) I'll explain.  As a
generalization (almost a truism) the stupidest posts and people I have ever
witnessed have come from WebTV addresses.  The reason this is funny, is
because most other people on Usenet find the same experience.  If it was
just me experiencing it, it could be chalked up to me being the moron, but
that's not the case.  My experience with WebTV users leads me to believe
that there are trailer parks across the nation giving these units away
(which I know isn't true, as the units aren't cheap).

Make sense?  As a secondary warning, there are people who will assume you
are guilty by association by just seeing you post from a WebTV account.
Having a Yahoo (or something like that) account to use as your posting
address will move you up in respect by simply distancing yourself from the
less intelligent WebTV users.  I don't know if those settings are changeable
in WebTV though.

I don't know if this is still true, but really in my experience the problem
stems from WebTV not giving it's users any instruction in ettiqutte for
Usenet.  Clearly I am not the nettiqutte police, but I have witnessed over
the years literally hundreds of WebTV users violating virtually every form
of ettiqutte within their first few posts.  Guys posting things like a
simple two line response, but then having 16 confederate flags, a midi file
of dualing banjos, a picture of some of their guns, a couple of mud-flap
ladies images, 4 or 5 photos of their truck(s) and a story of their dog as
their *signature* file for example.  I could give you example after example
similar to this, as could many others on this and other forums similar to
this one.

A line I once read stated "I don't believe in evolution, but WebTV users are
begining to convince me that de-evolution exists."

None of this is to pigeon-hole you of course, as you seem to be very
reasonable and intelligent as I previously stated.

Hello Chris,
I can accept that there are some goobers on webtv but there are also
some people that know everything about computers/webtv's  etc etc.. that
are webtv users. Now I know that everyone you meet on computers are not
brain surgeons. I do own 3 computers but sitting on my couch with my 60
inch television/monitor is much more cozy when visiting and  posting in
groups. as for sometimes getting the midis/sigs and such is because on
MSNTV disscussion groups list the newer users do not realize that all
the groups they come across are not just for MSNTV users. So I will
apologize for those users that just don't know that. Now the ones with
their girly mudflap sigs and such they can't be helped. but I do agree
MSN should seperate the groups so newer users will know the difference.
I have been posting in this group for sometime now and have had great
success with help and troubleshooting. and again I thank the group for
that. but back to the Subject line.....

I love the post about Dodges...most of them look like guppies with their
mouths open..

That just put a Large Mouth Bass in mind and every time I pass a Dodge
thats what I'll think of...lol
But I'll be the first to say the couple Dodges I have sat in got some
pretty cozy seats...I just couldn't listen to a Dodge Deisel all day
long...
also a buddy of mine from New Hampshire has a King Ranch Ford and it has
a really neat interior with the glazed wood and big cozy captain chairs.
but mechanically the truck has been nothing but problems for him. He
keeps driving them because he has the dealership by th balls .. He has
been through three 04 King Ranches in 2004. they keep buying them back
then pay him lost wages when it's on the side of the road...Pretty good
deal but I don't want to be on the side of the road..I love my Chevy

Yeah, kinda' ugly but my girlfriend is even uglier. The ugly truck makes her
look a little bit better. At least not as many people point and laugh at her
so much.
Cheryl and Rob - 24 Sep 2004 02:29 GMT
yeah......WTF is up with the Dodge Magnum?!?! You want ugly?? Dodge
delivered.  Oh and the piss a.s Dakota?? I can drag one or two of them
around a parking lot with my emergency brake on. I drive an 87 K5; and my
LUGNUTS require more torque than those goddamn Mopar pieces of garbage put
out!!!  Don't get me started on the Fords either....

Chevy trucks have the most balls in my opinion.

I agree the new chevys are ugly, guess GM is trying to carry on that billet
look on the grill make them look tough, when actually they have their fare
share of problems. I am a GM man myself, but I like the looks of the dodge
ram and the new F-150. Personally the only chevy truck I really like is the
old 96-99 Z71 C/K series with a 5.7 Liter which I own one. I also like the
newer style S-10 and S-10 Blazer, atleast the engineers at GMC still have
some taste, and always have, even if a GMC is a over priced Chevy.
