It's inside of the left frame rail. Looks like they've come up with yet
another type of tool needed to disconnect the lines though.

I like to change mine once a year or so. Cheap insurance to prevent
stressing the fuel pump too much. Puts off that big $ repair bill
that much longer...

On my 97 S-10, there is a nut the screws into the filter, then on the other
end, its a quick connect clip, did Chevy change this?
