saw one at the car show a few months back.
its based on the canyon/colorado platform, i-5 engine.
looked ok, was told tho you could only get it in all wheel drive instead
of 2wd or 4 wd. thats what the rep said that was there showing it.
cant remember the starting price tag, but it was low.
for the first yr here they only come in 2 packages so you can only get
them 2 ways.
he said there suppose to be on the showrooms come june.
havent seen any here in north carolina yet.

They really are, all the hummers actually. Poor build quality, poor
performance, over-priced useless junk.

The Hummer is great! The H2 is only a cheap piece of crap look alike. The H3
will probably be much worse!!!The H2 and H3 are ego machines! "Look at me! I
am driving a Hummer!" No your not, your driving a crappy look alike and are
to dense to know it!

If you want a REAL Hummer...find the DOD auction site in your area, and get
one to rebuild from the Armed Forces. There are a few places that can and
will get parts for the Original Equipment after it has been demilitarized.
Just have to do your research. The last one I saw a price tag on in an
auction area in North Carolina (Ft Bragg to be exact) was a mere $2000
starting bid (if memory serves). Had battle damage and needed an entire
drivetrain but it was pre H2 and all military.

Eightupman:
A Hummer coming from the Military can't be an H2. You've got to be
talking about the H1.
I couldn't picture H2's riding around in the Military.

Military HMMWV's aren't even H1's...They are far less plush and far more
function! The Civilian Hummer is a street version of the military HMMWV...
Military - http://www.army.mil/fact_files_site/hmmwv/
Civilian - http://www.hummer.com/ (and click on enter and go to the H1)
http://www.hummer.com/ also has the(I can feel the chunks rising) H3 and
info on it.
